A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a faithful ambassador brings health. (Proverbs 13:17)
We, as believers in the gospel of Christ, are ambassadors of God's kingdom. The question we must ask therefore is, "What message am I bringing to this world?" Unfortunately, it seems as if the foremost message of many churches is a message of protest. It appears as if a majority of Christians are more against people and things than they are for Christ and His kingdom. Yet I have yet to see much accomplished by way of protests and marches and boycotts. It seems as if it is more important to beat the so-called enemy than to win over the enemy. Have we forgotten that such were most of us? For every one abortion stopped by a protest, I am sure that hundreds if not thousands have been prevented by loving caring counsel and honest guidance. I am fairly convinced the greatest majority of the enemies of the gospel do not know that they are its enemies. They simply need a faithful ambassador to tell them the truth in love.
