The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. (Proverbs 10:11)
They are far and few between, but when you find them, they are a "Well of life." They are people, who with their words add zeal to life and leave you feeling better about yourself than before your encounter with them. They are people who are genuinely interested in you and the things that interest you. They are life's edifiers, encouragers and life givers. When you find them, you love them, and naturally desire to be with them. Why not be such a "Well of life?" It takes only a little concentration, a little dying to self and living for others—just a little. Think about it; which would you rather be around, a person who is a “Well of life” or the “Mouth of the wicked?” The choice is obvious. “A man who has friends must himself be friendly.” Again, why not be such a friend. Seek to encourage, edify and motivate others by getting interested in them. When you do, you will find that they will become interested in you.
