There is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:13)
God know and He understands. We never take Him by surprise. I love the words of the psalmist when he said, "If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me." We cannot escape the presence of God nor can we escape His judgments. We will all have to give an account to Him. Our lives will be naked before Him then. So let us live naked before Him now: attempting to hide nothing, living openly and honestly. Let who we are be what we are wherever we are. Let us purposefully live an open book lifestyle in glass houses. Whoever we are on Sunday is the same person we are on Monday. What we are at home is who we are at work or play. Let us live like that great sage Popeye, "I am what I am.
