This was the dedication offering for the altar from the leaders of Israel... (Numbers 7:84)
Each of the twelve tribes brought their gifts to their respective leaders. The leaders in turn brought the gifts to Moses. Each person’s individual gift was of value to that person, but insufficient in itself to complete the work of the altar. Cumulatively the gifts were of great value and more than able to meet what was required. Therefore we see that there is greater power in numbers. One person can do a little. One group can do a great deal. Twelve assemblies can change the world. When we corporately pool our resources there is strength. When we do so without regard of who gets the credit, God is glorified and His work is greatly edified. Be a giver. No matter how small your gift may be, joined with other gifts it can make all the difference. Whether in the church, the home or in business, pooled resources have great ability and power.
