A man is not established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous cannot be moved. (Proverbs 12:3)
Security is not necessarily something we attain, but something we establish. No matter how secure someone may appear on the outside, unless they are established on the inside, they will eventually be moved from their false sense of security. Security, on the other hand, that is established on righteousness cannot be moved. It matters not life's situation; those who are established in Christ are established on a sure foundation. Whenever we attempt to be established by circumventing His righteousness we will fail. Anything that has ever been considered established has done so through time and effort. There are no short cuts to long lasting security. "Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established." Therefore let us establish our lives in Christ's righteousness. He is the root of righteousness. No short cuts. No wickedness and no lying to ourselves. If we do this we shall not be moved, but we will be established.
