Title

Integrity Is Never To Blame

Scripture
We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed.
(2 Corinthians 6:3)
Devotional
To describe our text in a word, that word would have to be “Integrity.” For any relationship, business or ministry to succeed, it must be done with the highest of integrity. To know what integrity is, we must look at what it is not. Integrity is not coercive, rude, nor self seeking. It is not manipulative, condescending, nor vague. Integrity is gracious, polite, and charitable. It is honest, edifying, and transparent. Remember, integrity is not offensive. Jesus said it this way, “… For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” We are simply not to be offensive. However, if the gospel offends, so be it. That is between the recipient and God. Therefore, if someone rejects the gospel of Christ, do not let it be your fault. Hold on to integrity, it will serve you very well. “The integrity of the upright will guide them.”
