Now the names of the twelve apostles are... Thomas.

It was Resurrection Sunday; Christ had risen from the dead and appeared to the disciples. Thomas for some reason was not there. Later they told him that they had seen the Lord. To which he said, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." Thomas left again. I would imagine that for the next week he was in torment, wandering alone. Could Jesus have risen from the dead? Eight days had passed and Thomas returned to the upper room. Despondent I'm sure; he sat as the others celebrated. All of a sudden he hears, "Peace to you." He recognizes that voice and looks up to see Jesus standing in his midst. Jesus said to Thomas, "'Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.' And Thomas answered and said to Him,
