The Love of God Is Inclined to Obey

Scripture
Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.
(Deuteronomy 11:1)
Devotional
Jesus said that to love the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your entire mind... is the greatest of all commandments.[34] Without doubt, if we keep this one, we will inevitably keep all of them, the implicit as well as the explicit. If we love God, as we should, we will readily submit to the inclinations of His will and way for our lives. We will keep His charge, that which is entrusted to us. We will hold to His statutes, the customs and traditions of His kingdom. We will submit to His judgments, the ordinances of heaven over the opinions of the world. And we will joyfully, walk according His commandments, His terms for living and prospering on earth. To truly love God is to love His ways and obey His will for our lives. "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome."[35]
