Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over.

When the day begins, leaders begin to lead. It is next to impossible to read the Bible without taking note that there is something special about mornings. From Adam walking with God[8] to the bright and morning Star,[9] God obviously favors the morning. It is obviously good to start the day early. The mind is at its freshest, toxins have been filtered through a night of fasting and both body and mind are rested. The phrase, "In the morning" appears over a hundred times in the scriptures
