Share What You Know

Scripture
He [Apollos] vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
(Acts 18:28)
Devotional
Apollos was willing from the beginning to share what he knew, even thought what he know was not complete. He was not only willing to share what he knew he was willing to learn. Therefore because he, as a student, was ready to learn, God sent him teachers in Aquila and Priscilla. Note that Apollos did not learn the traditions of men or the religion of the Jews, he learned the Word of God. All he had at the time was the Old Testament scriptures. With these he was able to show that Jesus was the Messiah. There is a great lesson to learn form Apollos: share what you know and get to know more. Be teachable and refute those who do not believe. Show from the scriptures that Jesus is the Christ, the savior of the world and remember, "The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."[18]
