God Is Good, And He Knows

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.

Devotional
Our text reveals two powerful attributes about the Creator. He is good and He knows. He is not good some of the time; He is good all the time. He does not just know some things; He knows all things. Therefore, because of His goodness, we can turn to Him in times of trouble as well as in the good times. Because He knows all, we can trust Him to have the answers we need. Furthermore, because He knows us so very well, we can trust in Him explicitly. Our troubles never take God by surprise. The Lord our God is never taken off guard. He is always at the ready, and He is always willing. Trust Him. Run to Him. He will always be there for those who do so. However, why wait until trouble comes to trust and turn to Him, why not Let Him know that you trust Him now?
