Title

Write Your Vision

Scripture
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
(Habakkuk 2:2)
Devotional
The spoken word is short-lived and can be misconstrued. The written word is long-lasting and sure. The wise man does two things well: he reads and he writes. He understands that hearsay is fickle, but the written word is secure. He begins his day reading and writing. He reads to grow and writes to succeed. He writes and prioritizes the things he wishes to accomplish. He checks them off when completed. This he does day-in and day-out. The wise man also writes his dreams and goals. He keeps them ever before him that he may run when he reads them. He shares his visions with others, in writing. He likewise makes the vision plain that he who reads it may run with him. The wise man hears the voice of the Lord when He says, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
