Follow The Leader, Leader

Scripture
So Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
(Leviticus 8:36)
Devotional
All leadership demands leadership. To lead you must first be led. To continue to lead, you must continue to follow. Once you stop following, your leadership will wane. Aaron’s sons followed their father. Aaron followed Moses, and Moses followed God. Yet even Moses followed the leadership abilities of another, Jethro, his father-in-law. It was Jethro who instructed Moses with regard to leading the people. Therefore, every man and woman is to have leadership in their lives. As a matter of fact, the greater your leadership responsibilities the greater your need to be led. The greater the responsibility, the greater the accountability. When a leader stops being led, you give birth to the “Hitlers,” “Stalins” and “Jim Jones” of life. Therefore to whom do you yield? Who has say-so in your life? To whom are you accountable? If you answer no-one then you are not a leader or you are headed for failure.
