Have You Been To God’s House?

Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.

Devotional
In our present dispensation the church of Jesus Christ is God’s house. There ought to be no place we enjoy more than to be in God’s presence with His people singing praises. If there is, maybe, just maybe, we might have our priorities a little out of whack (Do not get thin-skinned on me now; I did say maybe). There is no place on earth the equivalent to being in God’s house when the Holy Spirit is pouring out His blessing. I am sure you have been there when God is blessing His people because His people are blessing Him. It truly is the place where His glory dwells. You may be thinking, “I go to church, and this never happens to me.” Well, maybe you are not a team player. Look around are others being blessed? Are people changing their lives? Are the Altars full of repenting people? If so, you may be in the place where God’s glory dwells, but you are merely a spectator. Learn to love the habitation of God’s house, and the place where His glory dwells, and you will never be the same again.
