Title

Which Way Are You Going?

Scripture
Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
(Luke 13:24)
Devotional
Matthew likewise tells us, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Narrow gates are entered into one at a time. That is just how we come to Christ, one at a time. We will likewise be judged through the narrow gate. There are unions and marriages in this life, but in the life to come we will stand before our Creator alone. In this present realm most people seek the broad way of life. We look for all the short-cuts and easy roads. We, by our nature, will take the way of least resistance. That way is usually least resistant to sin. It is not an accident that many cities have streets called “Broad Way.” Consider the most famous, New York City’s. The broad ways of life may seem easy, yet their way is the way of confusion. The narrow way is truly easy. It has been paved and readied by the blood of Christ; and Christ is that Gate.
