What Follows Believing?

Scripture
Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped Him.
(John 9:38)
Devotional
This once blind man gave witness of the work of the Lord in his life before he knew that Jesus was the Christ. Once he found out that He was the Savior, he worshipped Him. His verbal response was, “Lord I believe!” His action was worship. I have found that most Christians will proclaim Christ when asked. However, I see many slow to worship Him. I am always amazed to see people in church, the place we call the house of worship, just standing there with their arms folded across their chest “worshipless.” They attend week after week, yet they never enter into the praise and worship of the one in who they claim to believe. Once you know who He is, why would you not worship Him? Are you embarrassed? Are you ashamed of Him? How foolish we are. I would much rather be embarrassed on earth than in heaven; and ashamed before man than God. Therefore, If you believe, then you ought to worship Him. He is worthy you know?
