What is it that you fear? Have you ever noticed that people’s fears appear to come upon them? Fears are kind of like pot holes in the road; if you focus on them you will hit them. The key is, like pot holes. do not focus on your fears. Focus on those things that edify and cause growth. If we are constantly sharing our phobias, we are informing the enemy of our weaknesses, setting ourselves up for failure. The things Job feared came upon him because the enemy knew what those fears were and used them against him. Therefore give your fears to the Lord, and turn your fears of the things of earth to the fear of the Lord. You see, if you fear Him, He will come upon you, and when the Lord comes upon you, you will receive power to overcome your fears. Therefore, fear God and you need fear nothing else.
