Title

Dealing With The Sexually Immoral

Scripture
...Therefore “Put away from yourselves the evil person.”
(1 Corinthians 5:13)
Devotional
We are to win the lost of this world. Nevertheless, once they are won, they are to put on Christ and take off the world. The apostle gives us some clear instructions regarding a brother or sister in Christ who is living in sexual immorality. We are not to keep company with them. Our desire should be to restore those who have fallen into differing sins. Part of this restoration may require separation. We may have to separate ourselves from them to restore them. If we act as if their actions are insignificant, they will be perceived as such. If we are repulsed by sinful action, likewise it will be perceived as repulsive. Sexually immoral people in the body of Christ plague the body. There is not room for adultery nor fornication of any type. If you have been immoral, repent. If you know of sexual immorality in a brother or sister, do all that you can to restore them, even to the point of separating yourself from them.
