Title

Children Of The King Ride On Horses

Scripture
I have seen servants on horses, while princes walk on the ground like servants.
(Ecclesiastes 10:7)
Devotional
If you belong to Christ, you are children of the King. It is the obvious desire of the King that His princes prosper. Nevertheless, God’s people relinquish their rightful heritage to non-heirs of the kingdom. We are, “Heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.” The blessings of this world are not reserved for the worldly; they are reserved for the godly. It is not fitting for the ungodly to rule while the righteous grovel. The apostle Peter said it this way, “You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people.” Therefore, we are to stop walking as paupers and start riding as princes. It is not in arrogance that the prince assumes his proper place in the kingdom. It is through obedience to the King. We dishonor the King when we are satisfied with less than He has prepared for us. Therefore stop walking on the ground and start riding horses.
