Love Anyway

Scripture
Thus they rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
(Psalm 109:5)
Devotional
There will be times that your good will be perceived as evil. The reason being is that there will always be people who see evil as good. This is the perversion of a sin cursed world. The more you love the world the more this world will hate you. Because of the carnality of, yes, even believers, the more good you do the less loved you may be. The apostle Paul said, “...Though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.” Jealousy and envy are without regard. There will be those who are jealous and envious of not only your possessions, but your possessions and even your character. Nevertheless, never stop doing good. Remember, the Lord knows the good that you do and He will reward accordingly. Good will always have its enemies. However, good will always prevail. Therefore, do not grow weary in your well doing.
