Make Note Of The Notable

Scripture
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me...
(Ezekiel 30:20)

It is good to make and remember certain days above others. Birthdays, marriage anniversaries, and above all, the day of salvation are just a few dates that deserve a memorial. It is good to remember these days as a reminder of how we felt, what we thought and the commitments we made. The best way to memorialize special days is to write them down. My wife, Sherry, likes to make note of them in her Bible. I like to date those portions of scripture that spoke to me in a special way. We think that we will not forget important occasions. However, we more than often fail to remember unless we write them down. Learn to journal. Life is too special not to keep record of it. How would you like to have a written record of the events of your ancestors? Write things down and those things will remain fresh and alive to you. Make note of the notable.
