Title

Love Them, But Mark Them

Scripture
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I set in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.
(Micah 7:8)
Devotional
You do know that there are people waiting for you to fall. You do understand that not everybody wants you to make it.  If you do succeed, then they will be even lower than they already are. These are your enemies. You are not to hate them. However, may I suggest that you mark them-love them, but mark them, and go on with your life. Furthermore, do your best not to give them fodder on which to feed.  If you fall, get back up as quickly as possible. Even if you are in a dark time, allow the light of the Lord your God to shine through you. If you have fallen, be a light in that darkness. If you do so, you will be amazed with your recovery. One advantage of falling is that it will reveal your true friends and those in whom you can depend. Likewise, understand that the only people who ever fall are those who are upright.
