Title

The Word Of The Lord Is Not Rare

Scripture
So Moses said, “You have spoken well. I will never see your face again.”
(Exodus 10:29)
Devotional
I doubt Pharaoh realized it, but these were to be the saddest words that he would ever hear. When God removes His messenger from us, we, of all people, are most pitiable. During all the curses on the land of Egypt, Pharaoh always had Moses to call on for relief. Now he would be seen no more. When the curse of death visited his first born son, Pharaoh was without hope because he was without Moses, God’s man. God has always sent his messengers to His people. However, if the people failed to heed them, they were removed. Therefore, if God has a messenger in your life, do not take that messenger for granted. Have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to you through him. We do not want to return to the days of Eli, as the scripture says, “And the word of the Lord was rare in those days.” It is not rare to those who have an ear to hear.
