Devotional
Israel met the Lord in a tabernacle, a tent of meeting. We are also the tabernacles of the Lord. God dwells not only among us, but also in us. We are the sanctuaries of God. ?We still call the meeting place of God’s people a sanctuary. It is a wonderful place for corporate worship, preaching and teaching. God dwells there among His people because it is there that we are gathered in His Name. Nevertheless, He desires to dwell in us individually as well. We can fellowship with the Creator of the universe anytime and anyplace. It does not matter if we are alone or in a crowd, we can worship Him whenever and wherever we desire. ?Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves. However, let us likewise not assemble only so we experience the presence of the Lord. Walk with Him. Talk with Him. Be aware of His company continually. Just think about this: The Lord wants to spend some one-on-one time with you, just you.
