Title

Jesus The Observer

Scripture
Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
(Mark 11:11)
Devotional
Jesus was always very observant. He pondered and enjoyed things. The temple surely meant a great deal to Jesus. He called it His Father’s house and a house of prayer. He observed the money changers as well as the people praying. He watched the Pharisees as well as the people with their offerings. He listened to the musicians and the singing. Jesus took in life to the fullest. His days were full of life. He lived every day to the fullest. He says about us, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” We too are to be observers of life. We are to look around and learn. When you go into the House of the Lord, look around. Listen with an obedient ear. Listen to the music and the singers. Take in all that Christ has for you in this life. This is the life of a leader. This is the life of a follower of the greatest observer of all times. This is the life of a believer.
