Title

God’s Word Is the Foundation of All Truth

Scripture
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”
(Luke 1:35)
Devotional
This is how it historically, scientifically and spiritually happened. To deny the virgin birth of Christ in any realm is to deny Christ in every realm. Christ was not delusional. He did not suffer from an illusion of deity; He was deity. He was and is the Son of God, God the Son. He was not of the bloodline of Adam; He was of the bloodline of His Heavenly Father. He was not of the world; He came into the world. Some scholars and Christless theologians may attempt to speculate and measure these things through the foolishness of worldly wisdom; nevertheless the wisdom that is from above knows that the Word is true. From science to history, from grammar to theology, the entirety of the Word of God is inerrant. It stands alone in every realm, both now and for evermore. “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”(1)

(1) Isaiah 40:8
Thought For The Night
Americans are three times as likely to believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus (83 %) as in evolution (28 %)…. Not only do 91 percent of [American] Christians say they believe in the Virgin Birth, but so do an astonishing 47 percent of U.S. non-Christians.” Nicholas D. Kristof, Believe It, or Not, N.Y. Defining:  “The virgin birth of Christ” is a foundational doctrine of the Christian faith. Without it, all of what is held dear and true would fade into oblivion. By simple definition, it is: “The doctrine that Jesus was miraculously begotten by God and born of the Virgin Mary without the agency of a human father.”

Referencing: “‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,’ which is translated, ‘God with us.’” Matthew1:23.

Applying: Not to believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus is to not believe in the deity of Christ. To ignore His Virgin Birth is to ignore Christ’s deity. Think about it.
