Devotional
Even in our certainty, there is room for correction. Moses was a godly man who had made a righteous decision; nevertheless, there was one thing that he did not consider. When that one thing was revealed to him he immediately changed his mind. In our judments, there will always be one at least one thing we do not know. Humility will cause us to make the right decisions. Pride will keep us from choosing the best there is. Think about this: One moment of humility may bring a life of blessing. Therefore, do not be afraid to humble yourself. Saying, “I’m sorry, you are right,” may make the difference of a lifetime. When the good of your way is challenged and a better way is shown, do not be foolish, go with the best way. It may not always be the easiest way, but the end result will produce the best fruit. Moses listened to the better way and was obedient to it, for it was the way of God.
