Title

Let Us Turn Our Hearts Toward God

Scripture
“Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you will see, and not perceive; for the hearts of this people have grown dull.”
(Acts 28:26-27)
Devotional
Do the things of God that once moved us move us any longer? Do we hunger for His Word as we once did? Has church become laborious and worship mechanical? Dependent upon how we answer these questions we too may have become dull of heart. ?If so, let us pray, “O Lord, revive me again.” Let us choose to have a heart for the things of God. Let us not wait until a convenient time. Let us make this moment the time to not only hear, but to understand; to not only see, but to perceive as well. ?Have we like those who heard Paul in Rome become dull of heart? Let us again turn our hearts toward God by laying aside every weight, and the sin that entangles us, so that we might run with endurance the race that is set before us.
