Title

The Faith Journey

Scripture
“…for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes….For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”
(Romans 1:16-17)
Devotional
We know, according to verse sixteen that the Word of God is the power of God; and in it the righteousness of God is being continually revealed. However, we must purposefully learn to walk by faith in order for the righteousness of God to be revealed in our lives.?As Christians, we are travelers on a faith journey. The longer we walk with the Lord and study His Word, the greater measure of faith we will have. However, the problem with many of us is that our faith often decreases instead of increases through the years. ?We came to Christ by faith. We must likewise live by faith. The Scriptures are clear: “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Likewise, “Whatever is not from faith is sin.” Let us not forget that faith is not believing or trusting or obeying. It is a combination of believing, trusting, and obeying. Without the totality of each, our faith journey would turn into a faithless journey.
