Renewing Our Minds

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable will of God.

Devotional
The things of this world have a tremendous attraction and pull. We are bombarded with the lust of the flesh and the pride of life daily. We are demanded to tolerate the intolerable. We are badgered to accept the unacceptable and we are to embrace the repulsive. There is a battle going on for the minds of God’s people. The lascivious mindset of the world is being promoted as caring and compassionate. The compassion of the world is to tolerate what God does not. The compassion of God is to deliver and free from intolerable sin. We must therefore be about the business of renewing our minds. Instead of being conformed to this world by allowing our minds to be bombarded with the frivolous and mundane; let us purposefully renew our minds by meditating on the things of God: His word, prayer, praise and worship proving what is that good and acceptable will of God.
