Title

Body by the Creator

Scripture
After my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall se God.
(Job 19:26)
Devotional
Job had the assurance and the promise of eternal life. His faith was the same as ours. For he said, “I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth.” He understood and believed in the promise of the resurrection. Job further understood that, “the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” Someday these bodies of ours will be perfected as God intended them to be from the beginning of creation. Someday we will be returned to the image of God. From the dust of the earth Adam was created and from the dust of our ashes we shall be changed, never to die again. We will have perfect vision, hearing, wisdom and understanding. As the apostle John said, “When He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
