We Are Created To Be Redeemed
Scripture
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord who makes all things.”
(Isaiah 44:24)
Devotional
Creator of heaven and earth is He, Redeemer of all that I could hope to be. He is the one who formed me in my mother’s womb. He is Lord of all my life. When I think of His majesty and power I am astonished. When I attempt to fathom the depth of His love I am overwhelmed. When I realize that He created me and formed me and knew me before I was born I am humbled. Therefore when we willfully and flagrantly destroy that which He has created I am saddened and ashamed. It is one thing to destroy the earth by carelessness and neglect; it is quite another to intentionally destroy that which has been created in His image before it is born. Life is sacred, precious and therefore to be respected and cherished. He is the Lord that makes all things. Let us not destroy that which is created to be redeemed.
