Devotional
A lone brick is merely a brick. Take that same brick, put it together with other bricks and mortar and you have a building. The same applies to a lone Christian. Put him or her together with other Christians with the mortar of the Holy Spirit and you have a holy temple in the Lord. Christ is coming back for a building, His church. He is not returning for scattered bricks. Together, we are the body, the bride and the holy temple of the Lord. Therefore, seek to be bound by the mortar of the Holy Spirit with other believers. Get involved, really involved, with a local New Testament Church. They’re everywhere. I can promise that there is a wonderful body of believers near you. And they are looking for some bricks just like you. Are you being fitted together and growing a holy temple in the Lord, or are you just another independent brick?
