Title

Am I a Faithful Witness?

Scripture
A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness will utter lies.
(Proverbs 14:5)
Devotional
Listen to Isaiah, “‘You are My witnesses,’ says the Lord, ‘And My servant whom I have chosen.’” As a believer, I am to ask myself, “Am I a faithful witness or a liar? Does my life glorify God or bring Him shame?” Our lives will do one or the other. There is no neutral ground in the Kingdom of God. A life of mediocrity is a false witness and a lie. God never intended for us to be mediocre. Furthermore, if I am living an adulterous lifestyle I am a false witness. If I am lazy, selfish or careless I am a false witness. If our lives are not glorifying God, we are living a lie. I do not know about you, but I want to be a faithful witness. Faithful witnesses do their best to walk in obedience to the Word of the Lord. They are faithful to the Church of Jesus Christ. They do not rob God of tithes and offerings. They are people of the Word and prayer. They not only are faithful witnesses by their lifestyle, they are faithful witnesses with their words and deeds. Which are you? Which do you wish to be?
