“Surely it is coming, and it shall be done,” says the Lord God. “This is the day of which I have spoken.”

Devotional
God has said it and that settles it. What God has promised will always come about. No matter what the promise, He will keep His word. It is a sure thing. Mathematical probabilities, odds and randomness cannot compare with the certainty of God’s Word. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” We, likewise, by faith, can hold on to the promises we have in Christ. Maybe you have by faith prayed for certain favor or blessings. Do not give up, God will keep His word regarding you. Keep your faith. Hold on to it with great expectation. Keep hope alive and keep on believing, “Surely it is coming, and it shall be done.” Therefore, when your dreams, goals and prayers do come to fruition, remember, God has said, “This is the day of which I have spoken.”
