Title

God’s Standard Bearer

Scripture
You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth.
(Psalm 60:4)
Devotional
The standard of the Lord is truth. Banners are insignias used to denote the location of a person or people. The banner of the believer is to be the standard of truth. Whenever the world sees the truth of the gospel of Christ, they are to see God’s people bearing it. The truth of the gospel is Christ. There are many truths in the world, but there is only one “Truth” and that truth is Christ. We are to proclaim Him as a banner of honor and dignity. The banner of Christ is to fly high in our lives. People are to see it whenever they see us. We are the standard bearer. We are to be the flag wavers. We are called to be the patriots of heaven. Therefore, let the flag of truth wave with joy and honor from the staff of your life. Always remember that the flag of Truth is the flag of Christ. May it ever wave freely and may it stand strong among the nations. May it be displayed because of the Truth.
Thought For The Night

“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and, if true, of infinite importance. The one thing it cannot be is moderately important.” C. S. Lewis
