Title

God Knows and He Rewards

Scripture
For in this the saying is true: “One sows and another reaps.”
(John 4:37)
Devotional
It has been rightfully said, “It is amazing what can be accomplished when we do not care who gets the credit.” Some folks are planters, others are nurturers and still others are harvesters. It takes all three to bring forth a healthy crop. This agricultural paradigm applies to every aspect of our lives. The singer may harvest the applause, but somebody has sown years of training and another hours of encouragement. Each can take joy in the accomplishment. We may not always get the applause, but God knows and He rewards. Therefore keep sowing into peoples lives, be a nurturer. Sooner or later you will likewise receive the reward of the fruit of your labor. Be an encourager. Be an investor. Plant, nurture, help, and sow, and care not who gets the credit. At the very least, others will do likewise for you. And furthermore God knows and He rewards.
