Devotional
Man is immortal. He will live forever somewhere. Where depends on having a part in the first resurrection. I do not know how or when these things will take place, but one thing I do know, they will take place. From the rapture of the church to the millennial rain on earth and from the final judgment to our eternal assignments the Word of God holds true. "Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless."[46] Are you looking forward to these things or do these things cause you fear and apprehension? I have seen and found that the more we focus on the things of this world, the more apt we are to fear Christ's coming. Those who are, "Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,"[47] are living life to the fullest and with great anticipation. They are the happiest people on the face of the earth. How about you?
