(Acts 27:1)
Devotional
The uniqueness of the Bible is unparalleled. It is the standard by which civilized law is founded. It reveals clearly God's plan for His creation. From grammar to science and from geography to history, the Bible is the foundation by which man is to live and function. When one looks at the historical clarity of this one chapter of the book of Acts, it is without doubt that Luke was a first hand witness and recorder of the events of the first century church. His detailed description of events and emotions is without equal. When a writing is so explicit and comprehensive it can be easily measured and criticized both in form and content. There has been no book so studied, scrutinized and investigated as the book we call the Bible. It has passed the judgment of time, the scorn of its critics and the test of true science. It merits the highest respect and the deepest of study. It is God's undeniable Word. Read it.
