Title

Dare To Be Sold Out For Christ

Scripture
“...Amasiah...willingly offered himself to the Lord, and with him two hundred thousand men of valor.”
(2 Chronicles 17:16)
Devotional
If there is one thing that great spiritual men have in common, it is that they are totally committed to their calling. One leader totally sold out to the Lord can muster hundreds of thousands of followers. A certain shoe salesman once heard a preacher say, “The world has yet to see a man totally committed to Christ.” The prayer of this salesman became, “Lord, let me be that man.” This simple prayer became the rally cry for a man that went out and changed the world for Christ. His name? Dwight L. Moody. William Booth was another great leader who offered himself to the Lord back in 1878. Today his followers number in the hundreds of thousands--they are called the Salvation Army. Amasiah not only had two hundred thousand followers, he had two hundred thousand mighty men of valor because he willingly offered himself to the Lord. God is still looking for totally committed followers. Would you dare to be one of them?
