Knowing The True Christ

Whether the Lord is saying that there will be many coming proclaiming to be Christ or that there will be many coming proclaiming the wrong Christ. It makes little difference. Each is a violation of the first commandment, "You shall have no other gods before Me."[20] How do we know? How do we discern the truth from a lie? There are only two ways: the first and foremost is via the unadulterated Word of God. The second is like it, the unchanging Spirit of God. One will never violate the other. There will always be agreement between God's Word and God's Spirit. Therefore to be able to distinguish the difference between the true and living Christ and a false Christ, one must know both the Word and the Spirit. To attempt to know and understand the will and way of the Creator, we must walk in the Spirit and by His Word. One with out the other equates to tyranny. We cannot know the truth without the Spirit of God and the Word of God.
