Title

Through, Not Out

Scripture
If You treat me like this, please kill me here and now
(Numbers 11:15)
Devotional
The greater the responsibility the greater the weight of the burden. Moses was not only the meekest man on the earth; he spoke to God face to face. He saw the greatest miracles and lead God's chosen people. Nevertheless, he could not handle the constant complaints of the people and the requirements they placed on him. Here they complained about meat and God told him to feed them meat. This command seemed to be far above his ability. There was no way he could do what God asked him to do. Therefore his desire was to be taken not only from his responsibilities, but also from this life itself. I am sure that every one called to a task greater than themselves has felt this way. But God had a plan and God made a way when there seemed to be no way. Let those who lead remember and learn from one of life's greatest leaders, Moses. Let him teach us that God will never call us to a task that cannot be met. God will not take us out; He will take us through.
