Title

Unclean Spots

Scripture
And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, "You are the Son of God."
(Mark 3:11)
Devotional
Whenever Christ is exulted, His Word clearly preached and His people are worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth, unclean spirits will inevitably emerge. They will make skewed spiritual comments, irrelevant to the message or the context of what has taken place. They will be demanding of your time and just about impossible to interrupt. Their tools are intimidation and guilt. The more time you give them the more time they demand. They are interrupters and distracters. Jude defines them as, "Spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever."[25] Watch for them. Love them, but mark them. Do not allow them to infiltrate the Body.
