Title

Poverty Takes Up All Your Time

Scripture
The rich man's wealth is his strong city; the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
(Proverbs 10:15)
Devotional
In this life, wealth brings a high level of security. Wealthy people statistically live longer than the poor. They are more educated and naturally have a higher standard of living. The problem with being poor is that poverty takes up all of your time. Instead of living life to the fullest, one's focus is more on surviving than living. Therefore, to see wealth as evil or a bad thing is a little more than foolish. Finances are resources for life. The more resources, the more life there is to be lived. It is more than a matter of comforts; it is a matter of being able to have the time and resources to accomplish great and mighty exploits for and in God's kingdom. Never judge or condemn the poor for their poverty. However, let us do our best to get out of poverty. Study God's Word. Look to the Manufacturer's Handbook. Apply its truths and prosper at your godly endeavor.
