What Pursues You?

Scripture
Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid.
(Proverbs 13:21)
Devotional
Sin has been defined as, "Unrighteousness," Disobedience," "Rebellion" and "Unbelief." Righteousness is simply the antithesis of these. Those who walk in their sins are and will be pursued by evil. It is inevitable. The bible is clear, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."[1] Likewise to the righteous, those who do it right, good shall come their way. This also is inevitable. Now we have to understand, what may appear good to us is not necessarily good to God. Thus at times it may appear that the righteous do not always have good come their way. Yet God is not mocked. Much good has come out of tribulation. For example. God has promised to work all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are the called according to His purpose.[2] Therefore let us ask, what pursues me, evil or good?
