How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

It is obvious that not all wealthy people have wisdom and understanding. There seems to be so many that waste their lives and fail to enjoy their prosperity. Those with understanding and wisdom on the other hand enjoy life and will inevitably prosper in it as well. It is not a matter of one or the other. It is however a matter of seeing wisdom and understanding as far greater than the other. To seek any level of wealth and prosperity without the fruit of wisdom and understanding is to seek that witch will perish. Therefore seek these and the other will fallow. Wisdom listens and understanding diligently works. They know that integrity and diligence will bring a true reward. Those who merely seek gold and silver for the sake of gold and silver will find that their labor was in vain. Do not trade the lesser for the better. Seek and get wisdom and understanding and the byproduct will be gold and silver.
