Title

Praise Sings

Scripture
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bull.
(Psalm 69:30-31)
Devotional
Here we have the sacrifice that is pleasing to the Lord, "The sacrifice of Praise." And there is no better way to praise Him than with our voices lifted up in song. If God's people come together for no other reason other than to corporately praise Him, they have come together well. God inhabits the praises of His people.[1] Praise and worship are the gates to His presence. Psalm 100:4 gives the protocol, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name."[2] This is how we are to approach Him in prayer. When Jesus taught us to pray, the first thing we are to say is, "Our Father in heaven hollowed be Your name."[3] Praise is the key and praising the name of God with a song unlocks many blessings. Therefore let us always be thankful and lift our voices in praise and adoration to our God.
