Share What You Know and Learn More

Scripture
So he began to speak boldly... When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.
(Acts 18:26)

Do you see the manifold lessons in this one verse of scripture? First of all this man named Apollos was not only willing but also spoke boldly what he knew. We do not have to wait for a doctorate before we share what we know. Apollos was an awesome witness for Christ without having the full revelation of who and what He was. The second lesson is that he was teachable. He was willing for this couple to come along side of him and instruct him more accurately. In a word, Apollos was teachable. The third lesson is that Aquila and Priscilla were willing to mentor this zealous disciple. They invested in him, giving him of their time, talents and I am sure their resources. Therefore Apollos became a great teacher and leader in the early church. Mentioned ten times in the New Testament. Let us therefore be like these three, willing to learn and willing to teach.
