Title

Your Face Speaks Louder Than Words

Scripture
A wicked man hardens his face, but as for the upright, he establishes his way.
(Proverbs 21:29)
Devotional
Having a poker face is no advantage. It hides the most important park of commination, who you are. We should never attempt to hide behind a facade expression. An untrue look is as much a lie as speaking falsely. Do your facial expressions match your thoughts? Do you say one thing with your mouth and another with your face? If so, part of you is a liar. And if you lie with one you will lie with the other. We are told in the book of Numbers 32:23, “And be sure your sin will find you out.”[1] One of the sure ways for that to happen is found on our faces. It takes a really good liar to think one thing and express and say another. Let us not be afraid to reveal who we are and what we believe. It is very good to be easily read. Let us communicate honestly, not only with our words but our looks as well.
