Title

God’s Formulas Work

Scripture
Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.
(Romans 12:10)
Devotional
Herein lies a wonderful formula for growth: Kindness, plus affection, plus love plus honor, plus giving preference, equals growth. Unfortunately, instead of building up, we cut-up. Instead of loving, we despise. Instead of honoring, we dishonor. Instead of preferring, we spurn. Therefore, instead of growing, we lose hope and die. God’s formula works. The more we love and care for each other, the more God is able to bless. However, we do need to understand that this goes against our nature. We are naturally self-centered and selfish. Yet, if we work at God’s formula, and learn kindness, affection, brotherly love and honor, we will reap more than we sow. Herein is walking in the truth. This is God’s plan for His people. Learn the formula. Work the formula, and watch God do the rest.
